Extrusion is a method for mechanical shaping to obtain profiles in complex shapes, by pushing (or pulling) raw material into a die. This technique produces tubes with constant section (PG) which are subsequently reworked to obtain reinforced ends (DB or TB). Extrusion is also used to produce parts with a dominant profile. The cost of extrusion tool is lower than forging tool, and MILC can help you determine the method that would be best suited to your project.
