As everyone knows, some bikes have a hard life. This is the case with self-service bikes, for which robustness is a significant issue. A good example of this is the recent release of Double Pony V2<\/a> (from pony, a French brand for bike-sharing), which our partners at Antidote Solutions<\/a> worked on.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another area for improvement is the repairability of parts and components. For the first version of the Double Pony, Milc refurbished 700 wheels for electric cargo bike fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this order, we used our BikeBotix<\/a> wheel-building machine. At Milc, this work is carried out by Julie Maucourt, who is responsible for assembly<\/a> and logistics<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This after-sales service forms part of a circular economy approach that is meaningful for both Milc and pony<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
