July 2025, Louis Darricades, business manager at Milc, met Victor, the founder of V\u00e9los RACINE<\/a>, at the Eurobike 2025 edition. This marks the start of our collaboration to create the prototype of the brand\u2019s first bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We worked with the brand on the prototyping part<\/a>. Their project: designing a made in France, durable and affordable bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prototyping is essential to test and validate the suitability of the product before it goes into pilot run or mass production. We check ergonomics, performance, and ease of assembly. Since 2013, prototyping has been a clear component of Milc\u2019s DNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victor came to visit Milc\u2019s factory, but especially to fetch the first prototype of his bike\u2019s frame at the end of January. Milc produced the frame and fork prototypes for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of Louis for two days, Victor was able to witness the final welding operations<\/a> on the frame, to see the final technical adjustments and painting, before leaving with the prototype for Strasbourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A warm thank you to Victor, who highlighted the technical skills and expertise of our team, with Laurent Garrigues and Cosme de Becdelievre, for the welding part. Ma\u00ebl Azema worked on the process part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
