“A reliable bike made for dirt and pump track riding”
Here is the dirt-jumping bike made by Louis, business manager at Milc. This bike comes from a series of five bikes designed and manufactured by the Fler team a few years ago.
It was a team project carried out with Nathan Ducrocq (engineer at Antidote Solutions), Thomas Lecompte (business manager at Milc) et Fabien (former Milc team member), which they developed in their spare time.
Machining and tube notching allowed Louis to experience the operational side of manufacturing. The objective was to create a simple and reliable bike made entirely of steel. It was also an opportunity for him to better understand the constraints of Milc’s factory machinery and the needs of the technical team. This experience was particularly beneficial to his role as a business manager.
A rear brake with a long hose, a single-speed transmission with tensioner, a pair of semi-slick tyres, friction marks on the frame and the outside of the handles… there’s no doubt about where it’s headed: Louis takes his bike to all his dirt and pump track sessions!
At Milc, we are proud to see the complementary skills of the different entities within the Fler group, brought together in collective projects.
