Since 2018, Jérôme Bernardini has been a business manager at Milc. He bridges our clients and our internal team. Throughout a project, he is the main point of contact, overseeing overall progress and liaising with the production leads in each unit of our factory. “As business managers, we aim to offer the best solutions for our clients’ projects, according to their needs and the services Milc provides.”
However, his journey with us began well before that, in June 2016, when he joined our technical team. This experience gives him a practical grounding in his day-to-day role as business manager, as he knows our machines and tooling inside out.
Like 100% of our team, Jérôme is a keen cyclist who enjoys BMX, mountain biking and even trials riding. Cycling has also been the common thread running through his previous roles: cycle mechanic, mountain bike instructor, and machining instructor at a sheltered workshop (ESAT). It was during this last role that he crossed paths with Milc, and the adventure began ten years ago.
Day-to-day, Jérôme enjoys working closely with the technical team, notably through brainstorming sessions. This shared approach to decision-making helps to shape the best possible client projects, while taking into account the technical constraints and lead times of production.
Being a member of Fler Group means being part of a project and a collective momentum that Jérôme particularly values. Together with the rest of the team, he shares the pride of contributing to the reindustrialisation of cycle and light mobility vehicle production in France.
The last word goes to Jérôme: “What motivates me every day is helping to build a collective of around twenty people from very diverse backgrounds. We share the same convictions, and our non-hierarchical way of working is the result of the company’s evolution and of our efforts over more than ten years.”
