We are proud to officially announce our partnership with Hospitalité Notre-Dame de Lourdes.
Milc has been selected to manufacture the new fleet of Lourdes’ iconic blue mobility carts, which play a vital role in ensuring accessibility for all pilgrims visiting the sanctuary.
These three-wheeled mobility carts are being manufactured through a short, local supply chain, with production taking place within 50 kilometres of their place of operation. The chassis fabrication, surface treatment and final assembly are all being carried out at our manufacturing facility near the Pyrenees.
The prototypes have been successfully approved, and production has kept our manufacture busy throughout the summer. The first 25 mobility carts are scheduled for delivery in mid-September, in time for the visit of Pope Leo XIV.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Jean Salomon, former Prefect of the Hautes-Pyrénées and now Prefect of Yonne, whose in-depth knowledge of the region’s economic ecosystem helped connect the Fler Group’s expertise with the sanctuary’s requirements.
